Our purpose is to provide people who are living with brain injury a safe place to meet for support and information.

These pages accompany the private chat server that we maintain. Please note these are the terms of use for this private chat server.
All work here is done by volunteers. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Chat Etiquette ("netiquette")
Please greet new chatters when they enter a room. If you know a chatter is new, please introduce them to newly arriving chatters. This helps everyone get to know each other.
If chat admin or an operator (aka monitor) ask for your response, your cooperation is necessary.Please ask before opening a p2p (person to person, or private) chat with someone. Please note that if chat admin or chat operators may open a private chat with you at any time.
Using ALL CAPS is considered yelling. If you need larger type to see better, please use the large font version of the room.
If someone asks you questions you don't want to respond, you are not obligated to answer. If they persist, politely tell them you are not comfortable giving out that information.
Personal information should not be given out on the Internet, there is no way to tell who is really typing on that other keyboard. Each chatter assumes all risks of sharing personal info.
Security and Personal Safety should always be kept in mind.
